Rosalie Heislen, an advertising saleswoman for the News Tribune for more than 65 years, received the 2011 Dee Hamilton Old Pro Award on Thursday at the Missouri Ad Managers' Association annual meeting.

Heislen received the honor at the awards dinner at the Holiday Inn Kansas City SE Water Park Hotel.

The Old Pro Award is named after the late Dee Hamilton of the Buffalo Reflex. It is presented to an advertising staffer who has served his or her newspaper and community for many years. Award recipients must posses excellent sales skills and must be employed with a member newspaper at the time of presentation.

Jane Haslag, advertising director for Central Missouri Newspapers, said, "Rosy is an integral part of our marketing team. Her hard work ethic and dedication both for the News Tribune and her customers is inspiring. She truly loves what she does."
