Mary Andeline's recent artistic masterpiece exemplifies the essence of both the music and composition of one Lake of the Ozarks area ensemble she has held dearly for nearly 20 years - the Greater Lake Area Chorale.

"Spring's Mosaic" adorns hundreds of posters announcing the 2011 Spring Concert Series for the Greater Lake Area Chorale, and Andeline's art also showcases the diverse setlist for the Chorale's seven upcoming performances, with its finale concert scheduled at First Methodist Church in Jefferson City.

Andeline serenades audiences alongside her fellow 75-plus Greater Lake Area Chorale vocalists each spring and fall.

For Eldon residents Don and Nancy Upton, their love of singing has kept them a part of the Chorale since its inception.

At 3 p.m. today, the Uptons will join their fellow members of the Chorale to kick off the group's spring concert series at its weekly rehearsal homebase, Lake Ozark Christians Church on Bagnell Dam Boulevard in Lake Ozark.
