Willie D's piano girls Anna Menyhart and Susan Erwin tickle the ivories at the popular Little Rock night spot.

Local physician Osvaldo Acosta is the playwright for all three short stories that will be performed at Scene One this month.

"Trick or Treat," "Sue Falls" and "For Gracie," will be performed at Scene One's Black Box Theater beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Oct. 28-30. Doors will open at 7 p.m. in the downtown theater.

"Trick or Treat" is a recollection of Acosta's best remembered Halloweens growing up in New York City.

"I took the real life names of my two best friends and wrote about something we did and how that affected me after the fact. The play came in as one of the MOACT top 10 plays in Missouri this year, it was my first entry and I was pleased to see it did so well," he said.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling (573) 681-9199.
