No action yet on Jefferson City tattoo bill

Longer hours, new requirements discussed; mayor urges downtown zoning

No action was taken on an amendment to the city's body art studio ordinance, but there was still plenty of discussion about it at Monday night's Jefferson City Council meeting.

Suggestions made during a Friday workshop meeting included requiring any tattoo business carry a $5 million liability policy and changing the zoning ordinances for the downtown area to restrict future tattoo businesses from setting up there.
