STORRS, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut set the NCAA women's basketball record for consecutive victories with its 82nd in a row, a 86-25 win over Howard on Friday night.
Maya Moore scored 20 points to help top-ranked UConn (4-0) break its tie with Washington University in St. Louis, a Division III school, which won 81 straight between Feb. 20, 1998-Jan. 12, 2001.
UConn's last loss came in the national semifinals in 2008 to Stanford. The Huskies stand six wins short of matching the 88-straight victories set in the early 70s by the UCLA men's basketball team.
Freshmen Bria Hartley (16 points) and Stefanie Dolson (13 points) had their best games as Huskies.
Jerelle Gorham led Howard (2-4) with six points on two early 3-pointers.
No. 2 Baylor 81, Liberty 42
WACO, Texas (AP) - Brittney Griner scored a career-high 35 points along with nine rebounds and seven blocked shots to help second-ranked Baylor.
Griner blocked three shots in the opening minute of the game, after assisting on Brooklyn Pope's jumper only six seconds in that put the Lady Bears (6-1) ahead to stay.
Griner outscored Liberty in the first half finishing with 23 of the Lady Bears' 47 points. They led 47-21 at the break.
Freshman guard Odyssey Sims added 12 points for Baylor and Pope had 10.
Emily Frazier's eight points led Liberty (2-4).
No. 3 Stanford 70, South Carolina 32
STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Jeanette Pohlen hit four 3-pointers on the way to 14 points, Nnemkadi Ogwumike added 10 points and seven rebounds in 18 minutes and No. 3 Stanford beat South Carolina.
Ieasia Walker scored eight points to lead South Carolina (2-3).
Kayla Pedersen had 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists and Joslyn Tinkle added 10 points with six boards for Stanford (4-0). Chiney Ogwumike, Nneka's freshman younger sister, added nine points, four rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal.
No. 4 Tennessee 66, Georgia Tech 42
ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands (AP) - Glory Johnson had 15 points and a career-high 18 rebounds to lead No. 4 Tennessee in a game that was delayed four times because of power outages.
The power went out at the University of Virgin Islands four separate times delaying the game approximately 44 minutes total. The entire island of St. Thomas experienced blackouts.
Meighan Simmons added 14 points for the Lady Vols (6-0).
Alex Montgomery tallied nine points and six rebounds to lead the Yellow Jackets (3-4), which converted just one field goal during the final 8:23 of the first half.
No. 5 Xavier 99, Troy 37
CINCINNATI (AP) - Ta'Shia Phillips had a career-high 29 points and a season-high 18 rebounds, and fifth-ranked Xavier opened with a 24-0 run.
Xavier (4-0) played without sophomore guard Katie Rutan, its top 3-point shooter, who hurt her left foot during practice and wore a protective boot while sitting on the bench.
It didn't matter against Troy (1-5) in Xavier's most lopsided win in 28 years.
The 6-foot-6 Phillips had an easy time against a lineup with one player taller than 6 feet. She scored 10 during the opening 24-0 run and had a double-double after only 15 minutes.
With eight minutes left in the game, Phillips had 29 points and 17 rebounds; Troy had 24 points and 17 rebounds. Sophie Kleeman scored 10 for Troy, which is 0-17 against ranked teams.
No. 8 Texas A&M 87, Arizona 78
CANCUN, Mexico (AP) - Tyra White scored 20 points and Danielle Adams added 18 to lead No. 8 Texas A&M over Arizona in the Cancun Thanksgiving Classic.
Sydney Colson and Adaora Elonu each had 13 for the Aggies (4-0).
Davellyn White scored 16 points to lead five Arizona (4-1) players in double figures. Shanita Arnold added 15 and Candice Warthen had 14.
No. 9 Kentucky 91, Murray State 59
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Sophomore guard A'dia Mathies had 26 points and a career-high 10 rebounds to lead No. 9 Kentucky in the opening round of the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic.
Junior guard Carly Morrow scored 10 of her 11 points in the first half as the Wildcats (4-0) roared to a 41-21 halftime lead. They led by as many as 32 points in the second half.
Kentucky senior All-America forward Victoria Dunlap played only 10 minutes, leaving the game as a precaution after taking a charge and hitting the back of her head on the floor with 6:27 left in the first half.
Murray State (2-3) was led by junior forward Kayla Lowe and sophomore guard Mariah Robinson with 14 points each.

ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands (AP) - Liz Repella scored 14 points and the No. 10 Mountaineers held Virginia without a basket for nearly 10 1/2 minutes of the second half. used a strong defensive effort to beat Virginia 57-43 on Friday at the Paradise Jam.
The Mountaineers (5-0) led 27-26 at halftime at the Paradise Jam, then used their defense to go on a 10-2 run that eventually put the game away.
Chelsea Shine scored 12 points and Kellum added 10 for the Cavaliers (3-3).
West Virginia will play 19th-ranked Iowa State on Saturday, while Virginia faces No. 21 TCU.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Aaryn Ellenberg scored a career-high 26 points, leading No. 11 Oklahoma to a victory over Texas-Pan American in the Basketball Travelers Invitational round robin tournament.
Ellenberg, a freshman, was 9 of 15 from the field, including 4 of 6 from behind the 3-point line for Oklahoma (4-0).
Bianca Torre scored a team-high 26 points for the Broncos (4-1).
Missouri 54, No. 12 Georgetown 45
ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands (AP) - Raeshara Brown had 17 points and 11 rebounds to help Missouri upset No. 12 Georgetown.
Christine Flores and Jasmyn Otote both had 12 points and keyed a late-run for Missouri (2-2).
Leading 39-38 with 7:48 left, Missouri scored 10 straight points on four free throws by Flores and back-to-back 3-pointers by Otote to take an 11-point lead with just over 5 minutes left.
Sugar Rodgers scored 13 points and Monica McNutt added 10 for the Hoyas (4-1).

HONOLULU (AP) - Italee Lucas scored 21 points, Jessica Breland added 19 and Chay Shegog had 18 to help No. 14 North Carolina rout Washington State.
The Tar Heels trio combined to go 25 of 44 from the field.
Tierra Ruffin-Pratt had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Laura Broomfield added eight points and 10 rebounds for North Carolina (5-0).
Carly Noyes scored 11 points for Washington State (0-5), which shot just 21-of-76 from the field.

FREEPORT, Bahamas (AP) - Cierra Bravard had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 15 Florida State in the Junkanoo Jam.
With the game tied at 53, Florida State (5-0) took control, outscoring Alabama 15-8 down the stretch.
Tierney Jenkins had 17 points and 10 rebounds while Horn added 14 points for Alabama (5-1), which lost for the first time this season.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jasmine Hassell scored 16 of her 22 points in the first half while Porsha Phillips had 18 points and 11 rebounds to help No. 17 Georgia beat Denver in the semifinals of the Westside Thanksgiving Classic.
Jasmine James added 17 points for the Bulldogs (4-1), who built up a double-digit lead midway through the first half and didn't look back.
Britteni Rice finished with 12 points and Brianna Culberson had 10 for Denver (1-3).

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Devereaux Peters scored 18 points and the No. 18 Fighting Irish used a 23-2 run to dominate IUPUI in the Women's Basketball Association Classic.
Natalie Novosel added 12 points and forward Erica Solomon had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Notre Dame (3-2), which forced 19 first-half turnovers while taking a 41-13 lead at the break.
The closest the Jaguars (1-3) came to getting a player in double figures was seven points each from junior Jasmine Horne and freshman Demetri Nunley-Lash.

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO (AP) - Jaime Printy scored 15 points and No. 20 Iowa routed Virginia Tech in the Cancun Challenge.
Kelly Krei added 11 and Kamille Wahlin had 10 for the Hawkeyes (7-0).
Virginia Tech was able to close to 43-35 midway through the second half before Iowa went on a 20-2 run over the next 5 minutes to seal the win.
Aerial Wilson scored 11 points to lead the Hokies (4-2).

NEW YORK (AP) - Shenneika Smith scored 22 points, Eugeneia McPherson had 12 in place of injured point guard Nadirah McKenith and the No. 22 Red Storm rolled.
The Red Storm (5-1) came into the season with high hopes after making the NCAA tournament last year. They were ranked in the preseason poll for the first time in school history, but have struggled early this season, and barely beat Arkansas State on Monday.
Rachinda Bickham scored 18 points and KK Babin added 17 to lead Nicholls State (2-3).

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Diandra Tchatchouang had 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 23 Maryland to a victory over East Carolina in the first game of the Pirate Invitational.
Lynetta Kizer scored 16 points and Alyssa Thomas added 14 for the Terrapins (4-1). They shot 46 percent to win their third straight and give coach Brenda Frese her 201st victory at Maryland.
Freshman Alicia DeVaughn had 16 boards for the Terrapins, who held a 58-31 rebounding advantage but were just 1 for 10 from 3-point range and had 26 turnovers.
Three players - Shala Hodges, Ashley Clarke and Kim Gay - scored 12 points apiece for East Carolina (2-3).

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Elan Brown scored a career-high 18 points and had 10 rebounds to help No. 24 Vanderbilt blow past Quinnipiac and reach the final of its Thanksgiving Tournament.
It was the most points scored by the Commodores since Nov. 29, 1998.
Jence Rhoads and Tiffany Clarke had 16 points apiece, Hannah Tuomi added 15 and Jasmine Lister scored 12 for the Commodores (3-1). Clarke also had 11 rebounds.
Alyssa Jann led Quinnipiac (0-4) with 14 points, hitting three of the Bobcats' six 3-pointers in the first half.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Kalisha Keane and Brittney Thomas each scored 14 points to lead the No. 25 Spartans in the first round of the UCF Thanksgiving Classic.
Jasmine Thomas added 12 for Michigan State (4-1), which hit 57 percent (13 of 23) of its shots in the second half after making only 34 percent (11 of 32) in the first.
Senior guard Amy McNear collected 12 points and seven rebounds in her season debut for Western Kentucky (0-4) following a three-game suspension violating team rules. The team's leading scorer last year was suspended for three games because of a violation of team rules.
