Jefferson City police are currently searching for a suspect in an armed robbery reported shortly before 9 p.m. at Family Dollar, 713 Madison.
Officers are looking for a man who robbed the store brandishing a semi-automatic weapon and wearing a gray hoodie and Halloween mask.
The clerk at the store suffered injuries to the face and head when struck by the weapon.
