Students honoring X-ray technologists at Nichols Career Center

Through Saturday, X-ray technologists are being honored for their accomplishments and hard work at Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City during Celebrate National Radiologic Technology Week.

It honors the discovery of X-rays by German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on Nov. 8, 1895.

Students developed education posters for display at four of the radiography program's hospital affiliates: Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City Medical Group, St. Mary's Health Center and Callaway Community Hospital. The students also made up snack trays for the radiology staff at these affiliates.

The Nichols Career Center Radiologic Technology Program will have an open house 5-8 p.m. Nov. 22.
