St. Mary's Health Center Auxiliary received the 2010 Auxiliary of the Year from the Missouri Hospital Association.
The Jefferson City auxiliary was recognized for exceptional effort as an auxiliary with more than 301 members. Members performed 32,636 hours of volunteer work from June 2009 to May 2010.
The auxiliary awarded 12 scholarships of $500 to students seeking degrees in various health-related programs and the auxiliary hosted the District 3 Conference in 2010.
Other auxiliaries receiving awards were: Ellis Fischel Cancer Center Auxiliary, Audrain Medical Center Auxiliary, and SSM St. Clare Health Center.
