Republican Graves re-elected to NW Mo House seat

Republican Rep. Sam Graves has won re-election over Democratic challenger Clint Hylton in a northwest Missouri congressional district.

Graves' victory Tuesday means he will be entering his second decade representing the 6th Congressional District. He first won election in 2000.

Graves is a farmer from Tarkio who will turn 47 on Sunday. During his past term, he joined most other Republicans in opposing the federal health care overhaul and the federal economic stimulus act.
