'Little Fockers' tops holiday box office

NEW YORK (AP) - "Little Fockers," the third installment of the Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro in-law comedy series, topped the holiday box office with $30.8 million over the weekend.

The Coen brothers' "True Grit" opened with a better-than-expected $25.6 million during the Christmas weekend.

Final figures on Monday were several million less than Sunday estimates, as studios may have had their figures altered due to the blizzard in the Northeast. Warner Bros., Paramount and Sony still declined to issue final numbers Monday.

The top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Sunday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Monday by Hollywood.com are:
