MEXICO, Mo. - Down by 30 points midway through the third quarter Monday night, the Helias Lady Crusaders weren't going to go down without a fight.
"We ended with what was probably our best quarter and a half of basketball this season," Helias coach Doug Light said after the Lady Crusaders' 60-46 loss to the undefeated Mexico Lady Bulldogs. "We fought back."
In Monday's JV game, Helias earned a 46-17 victory over Mexico.
