Credit union robbed

Authorities are investigating a Monday afternoon bank robbery on the west end of Jefferson City.

You are a dog under the table working your best "feed me" faces.

According to police, a holdup alarm was called in at approximately 4 p.m. at Missouri Credit Union, located at 3200 W. Edgewood Drive.

Responding officers made contact with employees, who described the suspect as 5-feet-5 and wearing a black ski mask, black pants, black gloves, and a red hooded "hoodie'-type of sweatshirt.

Employees said the suspect came into the business, yelled for everybody to get down on the floor and then demanded money from the tellers.

After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect, who did not display a weapon, left the scene through the front door and into a silver Dodge Stratus or similar type of vehicle.

It is unknown if anyone else was involved.

No one inside the business was injured.

Due to the ski mask, the gender of the suspect is unknown at this time.

Missouri Highway Patrol and FBI personnel also responded to the call, and the FBI investigated the scene in conjunction with Jefferson City police detectives.
