Your Opinion: Don't undermine credit of U.S.

I readily understand Mark Bruenger's concern for the integrity of the two and one-half trillion dollars of paper IOUs held by the Social Security system and agree he should question everything.

I tested his theories in September by selling $118,000 of my Treasury IOUs for $153,000.

Royal Dutch Shell accepted this paper for their paper that then increased 20 percent.

I receive paper from these IOUs (interest) every month. UMB has faith in these IOUs and gives me smaller wrinkled old IOUs which Aldi's accepts for meat, bread, eggs, milk, and other things.

The big threat to the two and one-half trillion the Social Security system has is Republicans who want to declare it worthless.

In my humble opinion I think these attempts to undermine the integrity of the credit of the United States should be prosecuted under the Logan Act as aiding and abetting enemies or potential enemies of the United States.

I am a model capitalist.

I live well without working with interest from IOUs, a Social Security check and a Teacher's Retirement System of Illinois check.

The Moss-backed oligarchs who run this country don't want to pay taxes for the wars that defend their fortunes.

If Roosevelt had not fought their miserly ways I would have been used up long ago as a soap bar washing some German.
