An aide for Republican Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder is heading to work for a Missouri business group.
Rich AuBuchon says he is leaving state government this month to work as the general counsel for the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. AuBuchon has been the chief of staff and general counsel for Kinder since 2008.
Previously, AuBuchon was the commissioner for the Office of Administration under Gov. Matt Blunt. He was involved in the controversy surrounding the firing of a governor's office lawyer who raised allegations about the handling of e-mails.
