Second person charged in killing in Kansas City home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - A second woman has been charged in the shooting and stabbing death of a man in a Kansas City home.

Jackson County prosecutors announced Tuesday that 41-year-old Stephanie Nance, 41, of Oak Grove, is charged with second-degree murder, kidnapping and two counts of armed criminal action in the killing of 49-year-old Michael Fisher. His body was found in March 2018 in the basement of Michelle Dunkin's home. The 46-year-old Dunkin was found guilty last month of second-degree murder and other charges in the killing.

Authorities say Nance and Dunkin fired at Fisher after a fight and a male suspect stabbed him several times. An informant tipped off police after being asked to help dispose of the body.

Prosecutors have requested a $250,000 bond for Nance.
