Police: Driver of stolen SUV caused deadly St. Louis crash

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Authorities say a man driving a stolen sport utility vehicle has crashed into a car and killed a woman in St. Louis.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the crash happened Monday night. A boy who was riding in the car with the woman was taken to a hospital. Police say a woman and child who were inside the stolen SUV also were treated for injuries.

Police say the SUV's driver was taken into custody after attempting to flee on foot, and a rifle was found inside the vehicle.
