SIKESTON, Mo. (AP) -- An investigation is underway in the southeast Missouri town of Sikeston after a man was fatally shot Monday night.
Sikeston police Lt. Jon Broom told KFVS-TV that the shooting is being investigated as a homicide. The victim's name has not been released and police so far are declining to release any details about the shooting.
The regional major case squad has been activated to assist in the investigation.
