CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - A southeast Missouri teenager has died following a shooting near the KFVS-TV studio in Cape Girardeau.
KFVS-TV (http://bit.ly/1U5abMp) reports that 17-year-old Andrel Dolphin was fatally shot Thursday night. He died at a hospital Friday morning.
The Cape Girardeau/Bollinger County Major Case Squad is investigating. No arrests have been made.
Police say Dolphin suffered what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the chest. Witnesses told police he ran through a yard after the shooting to a parking lot behind KFVS and River Radio studios.
