NIXA, Mo. (AP) - Police in southwest Missouri say a decomposed body found in the backseat of a car parked at a Wendy's restaurant was that of a 34-year-old man.
The Springfield News-Leader (http://sgfnow.co/295Zfzi ) reports that the man was identified Wednesday as Greg Connelly of Joplin. Nixa police were called to the Wendy's restaurant last week after the body was found in a car that had been in the parking lot for several days.
The city said in a news release that the body was identified using dental records.
Police do not suspect foul play in Connelly's death, but the cause of death is still under investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
