A Jefferson City man was hurt Saturday afternoon when the car he was driving ran off a Boone County highway and hit the ground.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Tyson R. Schero, 33, who was wearing his seat belt at the time, received minor injuries in the 12:50 p.m. crash on U.S. 63 south of Claysville Road. He was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
