Lincoln University is continuing its "A Dream Fulfilled: The Presidential Lecture Series" this month with a new guest speaker.

Political strategist Symone Sanders will speak Tuesday at Scruggs University Center Ballroom on the Lincoln University campus.

Sanders is the senior adviser for former Vice President Joe Biden's 2020 presidential campaign and previously served as the national press secretary for U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders during his 2016 campaign.

Sanders is a strategist, communications consultant and CNN political commentator, who also served as a spring 2018 resident fellow at Harvard's Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School, according to a news release from LU.

Her work on the Bernie Sanders campaign earned her the distinction of becoming the youngest presidential press secretary on record and a spot on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of 16 young Americans who shaped the 2016 election.

She's previously been featured on NPR, Fox News, MSNBC, NBC and CNN, as well as the Washington Post, the New Yorker and ESSENCE Magazine.

LU's lecture series began in January with Derrick Johnson, president and CEO of the NAACP. In March, the series welcomed political strategist and on-air CNN contributor Donna Brazile.

The series is meant to bring speakers and activists to Lincoln University who can deliver messages that will resonate with the millennial generation.

Sanders' presentation is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m., to be followed by a Q&A session.
