Students, teachers and employees of South Callaway R-2 have been working to raise funds for Central Missouri Honor Flight.

The money, added up during an all-district Veterans Day assembly at South Callaway High School, totaled more than $1,900 - enough to fly six veterans to Washington, D.C. Students from each school building played a role in creating the tribute, which included a guest speaker, choir and band performances, special historical presentations honoring veterans and a community breakfast for veterans.
