A national nonprofit organization is inviting all veterans and their families to attend a seminar intended to inform them about benefits available to them and to update them on changes to programs.
The St. Louis-area Disabled American Veterans office is hosting the event from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. May 31 at Capitol Plaza Hotel, 415 W. McCarty St. in Jefferson City.
During the seminar, a DAV officer will provide information intended to strengthen veterans’ knowledge and understanding of benefits and services they have earned, according to a news release.
In addition to the seminar, officers will provide claims assistance from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
