The Cole County Public Works Department reopened the 1300 block of Murphy's Ford Road at the North Moreau River on Wednesday.
The county closed the section of road for the season in November because wintry conditions frequently make it impassible where it climbs a hill through a dense section of trees.
The reopened section is located northwest of Lohman and north of Meller Road.
