Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Cole County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 8:25 a.m. on U.S. 54 westbound at Pleasant Hill Road.
Shimera Coleman, 24, of Jefferson City, was going eastbound in the westbound lanes of 54 and struck a vehicle driven by Jason Stevens, 30, of Jefferson City, head-on.
Coleman was treated for serious injuries while Stevens was treated for minor injuries. Coleman was wearing a seat belt. Stevens was not.
