A mother and daughter were rescued Wednesday afternoon in Cole County after their vehicle got caught in high water.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. in the 7900 block of East Lohman Road where a low water crossing is located at Logan Creek.
The mother and daughter were able to get out and were on the roof of the vehicle when members of the Russellville/Lohman Fire Protection District got on the scene. They used equipment and got the pair back to dry land. Later, the vehicle was removed from the water.
