Two killed in weekend Mid-Missouri crashes

A Henley man was killed in a one vehicle crash Saturday evening in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 5 p.m. on Route H, a quarter mile south of South Teal Bottom Road.

Nelson Harrison, 61, crossed the center-line, went off the left side of the road and became airborne.

The vehicle struck four trees before coming to rest down a steep embankment.

Harrison, who was not wearing a seat belt, died later of his injuries.

A Fulton man was killed in a one vehicle crash Saturday night in Callaway County.

According to patrol reports, the crash occurred around 11:20 p.m. on westbound County Road 410 near Route NN.

Daniel Day, 27, was going west on 410 when he went off the left side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.

Day, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
