Fulton woman gets prison time in sex abuse case

A Fulton woman has been sentenced to prison in connection with a sex abuse investigation in Callaway County.

Jaimey Metcalf, 24, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual misconduct involving a child and was sentenced to four years in prison on each offense by Callaway County Judge Kevin Crane.

Metcalf admitted, from December 2013-January 2014, she exposed her genitals to the 14-year-old victim while the two were engaged in a sexual relationship, according to court records.

Metcalf also pleaded guilty to first-degree endangering the welfare of a child in a separate case. In that case, Metcalf admitted, from June 2017-June 2018, she allowed a child, age 12-13, to have contact with Metcalf's husband after Metcalf had been made aware that her husband had sexually abused the child.
