Crash at Truman Boulevard and 179 injures 3

Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Jefferson City.

Police reports show the crash occurred around 7:38 a.m. at the intersection of West Truman Boulevard and Missouri 179.

Nathaniel Fuller, 43, of Jefferson City, was attempting to make a left turn from Industrial Drive to go south on Missouri 179. Curtis Rackers, 45, of Jefferson City, was going east on West Truman Boulevard in the eastbound passing lane, approaching the intersection of West Truman Boulevard and Missouri 179.

Fuller turned into the path of Rackers, and the vehicles collided in the intersection.

Fuller was taken to a local for treatment of moderate injuries. Rackers, along with his passenger, Pierce Rackers, 10, of Jefferson City, were also were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
