Name change is now official for nonprofit

Since merging in 2014, Pathways Community Health and Crider Health Center have created a strong health network across 45 Missouri counties.

Effective Monday, the organizations have also unified their name - Compass Health Network.

The nonprofit agency operates three clinics in Jefferson City and 10 total in the Mid-Missouri area. It offers behavioral health and substance use disorder services at 227 Metro Drive, psychiatry services at 1511 Christy Drive, and - in conjunction with the Community Health Center of Central Missouri - the Children's Center, 1905 Stadium Drive, all in Jefferson City.

The Children's Center provides a "whole person" approach that serves the unique nature of each child and their family, according to a Compass Health Network news release.

The center makes available to patients health care providers from an array of disciplines. It serves as a location for families to find answers, hope and health.
