2 injured in Sunday crash

Two Jefferson City residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night in Cole County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at 5:10 p.m. on Route C, at Forest Ridge Lane.

Taleesha Brown, 39, was stopped and preparing to turn left when she was struck in the rear by Travis Bledsoe, 27.

Brown had no reported injuries, but her passenger, Tania Townsend, 15, of Jefferson City, was treated for moderate injuries while Bledsoe was treated for serious injuries.

All those involved were wearing seat belts.

An Iberia man was arrested after a one-vehicle crash Sunday night in Miller County.

Patrol reports show Isaac Minnick, 23, was arrested for driving while impaired and failure to maintain the right half of the road involving an accident.

Minnick was driving at about 11:05 p.m. on Route EE, at Redbud Lane, when he fell asleep, crossed the centerline and ran off the left side of the road. He then struck a ditch and overturned.

Minnick was not wearing a seat belt and was treated for minor injuries.

A Jefferson City woman was hurt after a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Osage County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred at around 6:45 a.m. on U.S. 63, a quarter-mile north of Route P.

Steven Sanning, 44, of Clarksburg, slowed for traffic ahead and was struck in the rear by Lori High, 44, of Jefferson City.

Sanning had no reported injuries, but High was treated for minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
