MoDOT survey to help with US 54 study

U.S. 54

The Missouri Department of Transportation is conducting a corridor study to identify and evaluate a range of safety improvements at intersections along U.S. 54 in Cole and Miller counties.

MoDOT is asking citizens to take a survey online at surveymonkey.com/r/Route54SafetySurvey.

The areas being studied stretch from Route E (near Brazito) to Wood River Road (near Lake Ozark).

The study does not include the U.S. 54/Route W interchange in Miller County, currently under design. This estimated $14.14 million project will replace traffic lights that are currently in place.

This study also will not consider speed limit changes or additions of signalized intersections.

The findings will be part of the analysis of this corridor and used to prioritize future projects and develop a range of safety improvement alternatives if funding becomes available.
