Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Jefferson City.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:56 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Missouri Boulevard, according to police reports.

Officers said evidence from the crash scene suggested a vehicle driven by Seth Forck, 29, of Jefferson City, was traveling westbound on U.S. 50 in the right lane approaching the intersection with Missouri Boulevard. A vehicle driven by Alan Miller, 55, of Jefferson City, was making a left turn from eastbound U.S. 50 to northbound Missouri Boulevard.

Miller was in the intersection making the left turn as Forck was entering the intersection to continue westbound. This led to Forck's vehicle striking Miller's.

Forck was transported to a local hospital by a family member to be treated for minor injuries. Miller was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries.

Forck was wearing his seat belt, but Miller was not.

The crash is being investigated by the Jefferson City Police Department Traffic Unit.
