Greg Gaffke, right, president of the Cole County Sheriff’s Posse Association, presents a $500 donation to Susan Stegeman, Special Olympics Missouri VP of Development and Derick Sandbothe, campus host for the Special Olympics Missouri Training Center for Life campus.

The Cole County Sheriff's Posse Association recently raised $1,000 benefiting the Special Olympics Missouri Training for Life campus.

A $500 donation will be used to purchase a "brick" at the campus for the association.

Cole County Sheriff John Wheeler also received a $500 donation from the association for the Sheriff's Department, which Wheeler donated to the Training for Life campus.

The donations were proceeds from the association's gun raffle held in conjunction with the annual Sheriff's Barbecue.
