Several injuries in Mid-Mo Friday wrecks

Three people were injured in a Morgan County crash Friday when a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Zelma Jones, 77, of Stover, slid off the right side of U.S. 52 near Route T.

Jones sustained minor injuries in the single-car crash. The Missouri Highway Patrol said Timmy Jones, 55, and Scott Jones, 52, also sustained minor injuries in the crash around 2:20 p.m. All three were transported by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia.

A New Bloomfield man sustained minor injuries around 5:30 p.m. Friday evening in a Columbia crash on Interstate 70.

Bedworth was driving in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near mile marker 122 when his 2007 Dodge 3500 rear ended a 2015 GMC Denali K3500 driven by Robert Phillips, 44, of Centralia, Illinois. Phillips was uninjured in the crash.

Bedsworth declined medical attention. Both cars sustained extensive damage in the wreck.

A Fulton man sustained minor injuries in a three-car crash Friday on Interstate 70 in Columbia. Cameron Snodgrass, 18, of Fulton, was driving in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near mile marker 122 at 5:26 p.m. when his 2014 Jeep Compass rear-ended a 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by Cortland Bolles, 41, of Kansas City. Bolles' vehicle then rammed a 2011 Kia Soul driven by Kristen Walker, 28, of Columbia.

All cars then went off the left side of the road and struck the median cable. Snodgrass' vehicle then went off the road and overturned. Snodgrass was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
