Lohman woman hurt in Friday wreck

A Lohman woman was injured Friday afternoon when her car struck a vehicle that failed to yield at an intersection.

Raechel Ford, 29 of Lohman, was driving a 2003 Mazda westbound near the intersection of Route AA and County Road 488 in Callaway County at 2:47 p.m. Friday afternoon when a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brandon Gibson, 19, of Holts Summit, was traveling eastbound. As Gibson's car failed to yield to the westbound traffic, Ford hit Gibson.

Ford sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
