The town of Hatton will host its 46th annual Hatton Craft Day on Saturday.

The event will feature more than 170 vendors from across the Midwest selling hand-crafted items.

Hatton Extension Club President Agnes Hatcher said one of the best qualities of the Hatton Craft show is how the small community really comes together to make the event happen.

"Kids of all ages show up to work shifts in the food booths, park cars and clean up," she said. "At the end of the day, it takes everyone to help pull off this event."

Hatton 4-H Club, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and North Callaway FFA are a few of the groups that provide volunteers.

Sponsored by the Hatton Extension Club and Hatton Community Club, the festival also is known for its food, served from seven food booths, including homemade cinnamon rolls and doughnuts, burgers, ham and beans, pimento cheese sandwiches, and pie or caramel apples for dessert. Food sales run from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

Craft sales are open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
