A Hartsburg man man suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning after a collision between an SUV and pickup truck in Boone County.
Edwin W. Honse, 52, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado and was stopped at the intersection of U.S. 63 and Mount Pleasant Road at about 7:25 a.m., facing east.
A 1999 Toyota RAV4 driven by Dustin J. Hengel, 19, of Independence, was traveling southbound and attempted to make a right turn, but struck the Silverado.
The RAV4 sustained extensive damage, and the Silverado moderate damage.
Honse was taken by private vehicle to a Columbia hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt.
