As of Tuesday evening, crews were still working to repair a water main break affecting customers of Cole County Public Water District 2.
Around mid-day Tuesday, water district officials posted a notice on the district's Facebook page that a break occurred at the intersection of U.S. 54 and Goller Road, just south of Jefferson City.
District officials did not provide any information as to what may have caused the break and did not know how long customers would be affected. They urged customers to continue to follow the district's Facebook page for updates.
