A Jefferson City woman was arrested on drug charges Monday near California.
While on patrol, Moniteau County deputies saw a vehicle driving in circles on a public parking area, according to sheriff’s department reports.
The driver, Michelle Sitton, 48, of Jefferson City, was found to be impaired and in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
As of Tuesday, Sitton was in custody on charges of possession of a controlled substance and delivery or possession of a controlled substance.
