One arrested in Moniteau drug bust

One person was taken into custody after a drug bust this week in Moniteau County.

According to sheriff's department reports, deputies on Wednesday went to a residence on Grehart Road in California to assist California police with an assault case.

During their investigation, authorities found several items of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamines, marijuana as well as digital scales. A Glock .357-caliber handgun was also found.

Deputies took Aaron Moseley, 27, of California, into custody and charged him with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a weapon. As of Friday, he was being held on a $35,000 bond.
