For a year, Zach Shuman has been making a business move from Canton, in northeast Missouri, to Fulton.
"I'm really happy to be in Fulton; it's really worked out," he said. "We just got everything up and going."
Shuman was attracted to Fulton's warm business climate and friendly city officials.
"We just wanted to move to Central Missouri," he added. "We looked at Columbia at first, but it was so much less expensive here. We're extremely happy with the way things are going."
Mid-Mo Diesel is a pre-owned diesel truck dealership, formerly known as A to Z Motorsports. Shuman's mission is to provide high-quality diesel trucks at honest and affordable prices.
The new location is 1112 W. 7th St., off Airway Drive just west of U.S. 54. Shuman has bought, repaired and sold hundreds of diesel trucks, he said, and hand-picks every truck offered.
Available brands are Dodge Cummins, Ford Power Stroke and Chevrolet Duraxax. Minor technical work can be performed by Shuman, who said a full service department may be added down the road.
