A farmhouse was destroyed in a fire Sunday morning in Cole County.
The fire in the 100 block of Eugene Road was reported after 10 a.m., according to Cole County Fire Protection District reports.
When fire crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. The homeowner was not at home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters worked on the scene for about three hours to make sure the fire did not spread to any other properties.
The cause for the fire was listed as "undetermined" due to the extent of damage to the structure.
