Four arrested in Morgan County drug bust

Four people were arrested Monday following a drug bust in Morgan County.

According to Morgan County Sheriff's Department reports, in a joint investigation with the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, a residence in the 12000 block of Countryside Lane was searched for illegal drugs and evidence of fraud. Officers seized approximately 34 grams of methamphetamine and associated drug paraphernalia. Those arrested included:

James Wood, 36, of Sunrise Beach, who was charged with second-degree drug trafficking.

Jessa Porter, 20, of Gravois Mills, who was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Regan Porter, 41, of Versailles, who was previously on pre-trial release on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Henry Hicks, 64 of Warrensburg, who was previously on pre-trial release on an original charge of failure to register as a sex offender.
