A water main break reported by the Cole County Public Water District No. 2 on Tuesday morning has been repaired.
The break in the Honey Creek Road and Tanner Bridge Road area was caused by construction work in the area, a water district official said.
The water leak had been repaired and lines were being flushed as of about noon Tuesday, according to information posted on the water district's Facebook page.
Any customers who experience discolored water or air in their lines should run the water for about five minutes. If the problem persists, call the water district office at 573-635-7011.
