Hearing to discuss lake area interchange

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing July 24 to discuss the building of a new interchange to replace the signalized intersection on U.S. 54 at Business 54 and Miller County Route W in Lake Ozark.

Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in late 2019.

The public hearing will be held from 4-6 p.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 755 Bagnell Dam Blvd. in Lake Ozark.

No formal presentation will be made. Members of the public may attend the hearing at any time between 4-6 p.m. to speak with MoDOT staff. Various project displays will be available, and the public is encouraged to ask questions and provide input. All comments will be taken into consideration and made a part of the project file, according to a MoDOT news release.
