Rear-end crash injures 2 Jefferson City residents

Two Jefferson City residents were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Rainbow Drive, just west of the east junction of Rainbow Circle.

Jerica Roark, 28, stopped on Rainbow Drive, waiting for oncoming traffic to mark a turn into a business. Joshua Stone, 24, struck Roark's vehicle in the rear.

Roark was treated for minor injuries, while Stone was treated for moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
