Jefferson City police are investigating a vehicle-pedestrian crash that happened Thursday night.
A 2004 Chevrolet Tracker driven by Donna Branch, 65, of Jefferson City, struck Dion Brown, 19, of Jefferson City, at 6:07 p.m. Thursday near East McCarty and Chestnut street.
Branch was traveling westbound on East McCarty Street when she struck Brown as he crossed East McCarty and Chestnut streets, according to police. Branch sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to a Jefferson City hospital. Brown sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to a Columbia hospital.
Williams said the crash is under investigation.
