An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday in connection with a death investigation in Morgan County.
Members of the Versailles Police Department were called Sunday night to a residence on West Williamson Street in regards to a man with a gunshot wound, according to Morgan County Sheriff's Department reports. Officers arrived to find Justin Wittrock, 29, dead from a single gunshot wound.
The Sheriff's Office was requested to assist Versailles police with the investigation.
Angela Keefe, 30, Wittrock's girlfriend who shared the home with Wittrock, has been charged with felon in possession of a firearm. As of Tuesday she was being held in the Morgan County Jail.
