UPDATE: All suspects in custody following separate manhunts

CALWOOD - Two adult suspects and two juveniles were arrested after a manhunt in the Calwood area Wedneday afternoon, Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism said.

The suspects were taken into custody at 5 p.m. by Callaway County deputies and Missouri Highway Patrool troopers.

The manhunt began about noon Wednesday while deputies were helping with another manhunt on the Callaway and Montgomery county boarders. This manhunt began on the south outer road of Interstate 70 near mile marker 152, in the Auxvasse Creek area.

Deputies responded at 11:58 a.m. to the south outer road to assist the Highway Patrol, Chism said. A stolen vehicle was crashed, and two subjects fled the scene on foot. At 2:56 p.m., the sheriff's office said one suspect was in custody.

The remaining suspects were located at 4:49 p.m. on County Road 117 near Calwood.

"We appreciate the community support and offers of assistance throughout the afternoon while numerous deputies and state troopers converged on the area," Chism said.

Several Callaway County deputies, including the Sheriff's Office K-9 unit, were on the scene as of about 12:20 p.m. The Highway Patrol aircraft also assisted, and the Audrain County Sheriff's Office was responding with its K-9 unit.

At 4:47 p.m., law officials said the remaining adult suspect was identified as Jesse Tamburo, of Colorado. Images of him at an area business were obtained, showing a white man with a slim build, darker hair in a bun, in his 20s and wearing a gray tank top.

The names of the others arrested were not immediately released.
